Yup. You get your production number once the dealer receives an allocation. Once you get your production number, you’ll be able to track its status on MyGarage.

Have they told you where on the waitlist you are?

For some reason the dealer wasn’t being transparent about the wait list and kept saying “we do enough orders so it shouldn’t be a problem”.

That's strange. I would be keep asking your CA to know where exactly on the waitlist you are. I'm assuming they may have a few people ahead of you if they didn't want to disclose the exact position.

So I texted my CA this AM no response. This evening I called and got him on the phone. Super dismissive/disrespectful… “your in the teens bud, may wanna call back in 6 mos…”

Third horrible interaction with this dealer in 15 yrs trying to order a car. I knew I shouldn’t have given them another chance after my last bad experience there in 2009…. BMW Fairfax in VA for those wondering…

Find a new dealer.
When I was searching for a allocation all over, no one in the dmv area had it. Lucky for me, found an allocation near me (ny/nj) after just a few calls.
I can refer you to the dealer. They might have another allocation.

That’d be great thanks. I’ll have to go bank and read my deposit paperwork as I recall seeing “non refundable” listed somewhere

Well make a case saying your CA was rude and don't wanna deal with them anymore, they will surely refund even it lists non-refundable somewhere. If they are the one who f'ed up.

The fact that they took your deposit and never explained where you were as far as placement for allocation is wild. There is definitely someone around you who will get you allocation and be more transparent. Atleast they doubled down by being disrespectful. Now you know its not a place you will want to give your business and can avoid them. Good luck on your allocation hunt!

I just changed my color combo for the 100th time.

Thought Tanzanite was too dark so switched over to gray with Tartufo instead. Even got bumped to week 47 after the change.

I was originally week 40, then pushed to 50 then 47 then week 6 now back to 48.
This is driving me crazy !!!!
But way better than week 6 tho lol

What the heck! I haven't seen that much bouncing around. Did you go carbon bucks or individual paint? Maybe that explains some of that. Glad you are sitting at week 48 with us though. Even though it maybe temporary

Anyone bold enough considering San Paulo Yellow? My build request was submitted with SPY but after sleepless nights and switching my mind over and over, I decided to go Skyscraper Grey …. Can’t go wrong with that one … playing it safe considering the investment.
