Have to admit I've already been scoping things out for West Coast delivery (I'm assuming it'll be Port Hueneme for me):

Nice! I thought I saw somewhere that BMW will try to get cars to us before the end of the year to have better quarterly numbers, hope that's true. I'm in NorCal, so I think mine will arrive in SoCal and come up here by truck. Hoping before end of the year!

You likely won't.

For us week 38-ers, most of us got to the port 9/20 to 9/22. A few stragglers got there on Monday 9/25 or Tuesday 9/26. None of us made ships that week. Or even the following week. Other weeks after the break (36 on up) have shown similar patterns.

A few people might get lucky. But keeping it real, you're not going get on a ship scheduled to leave within a few days of your completion date.

Right; reading what's been happening to all of you week 36-40 guys, with my Oct. 24 production date I actually had been looking at the Nov. 7 ship as my likely target (dismissing both Oct. 30 departures as nothing but wishful thinking). And I've resigned myself to it possibly being as late as Nov. 14 or 19.

Guess it'll just get here when it gets here.... But I want it now!!!!

Given that we'll collect our cars between Thanksgiving + Christmas, will the dealer put a fancy bow on the car for me? Do I have to ask for that?

I think I'll demand it! Unless that means I get to drive it away even five minutes later (to allow them time for proper bow placement); then they can just keep their damn bow.

Same here, I’m still seeing status 111 on the website. I did call the genius line earlier this week and they still said I was week 43 so who knows…

So I’ve been in 112 for almost a month and have been pushed back while in status 112. So until that VIN comes in idk that anything is certain. This is my second G80 order so from my memory once you hit 150 things seems to move a lot quicker. Until then it’s just hurry up and wait.

Finally got my VIN added to the BMW app. The gallery shows ID7. I called Genius and they transferred me to three different people and couldn't confirm I'd get ID8. Anyone else see their car with ID7 if you have an M4? I really want ID8, but all 2024 M4 should have it... anyone know any different? thanks
