Wait a minute, you mean to say that pre-break-in service m3 doesn't have ~500 HP?

I was just joking around. It’s a long running myth that the run in service adds power but unfortunately no such magic occurs. You do get to rev it out and use launch control, which I can’t wait to try out.

I got my 1,200-mile service check completed today! Excited about that. While waiting, I took some pics of this 1940 BMW 327/28 Cabriolet on display in the showroom.

What drop/spacers are you using? That's like the perfect stance.

Thanks! I'm using the KW HAS Kit, 15MM drop in front and 10MM drop in rear, and Future Classic 12MM spacers in front/rear.

Finally got my grill issues sorted out... Vorsteiner ABS GT3 Style grill installed today by EAS.

They also installed iSweep front and rear pads, and the Fall-Line Monoball Conversion a couple weeks ago.

Update on my steering wheel leather issue. My dealer offered to have it repaired. Okay, fine. If I can not feel a rip on the underside of the wheel every time I make a turn, that'd be great.

Picked it up this afternoon. I think theyve actually made it much, much worse. More than half the wheel now is covered in this weird textured surface. I'm very confused why fixing a 1-2" rip on the back/underside of the wheel required applying something to more than half of the wheel....

I noticed it immediately, the difference between the unaffected leather and the textured surface is very apparent. Nearly the whole wheel from 9-3 positions down has this feel to it, it *does not* feel like the leather anymore.

I'm kinda pissed. I'm going to sleep on it, and maybe driving into work tomorrow it is less noticeable. But I guess I will be texting my CA tomorrow telling him I want the whole wheel replaced.

If I had known that what I have now was the end result of fixing the tear, I would have just lived with the tear.

They really tighten up the steering. Like many have mentioned, in comfort mode it is almost too twitchy, but in sport it's perfect. It's a definite improvement for steering input.
