I have a set of the floating caps ($80) and a set of the 50th anniversary ones ($150) pretty sure I can modify them to make 50th anniversary floating caps.

Let us know how that goes. IND posted something I believe and said it was a time consuming process.. but if it can be done relatively easy I’d be down.

Just going through comments seeing what ppl r doing n noticed this. They'll do the break in service at 900 but recommend like 1.3 or something. That said (and this is the main thing I thought you and others may need to know), you'll find in the manual it says NOT to utilize launch control before you hit 3k miles.

The car's full power is available right off the line. They say it isn't and you get it after break in. Don't correct them. All I said when picking up from break in was, "awesome! Thanks! But I still shouldn't initiate launch control, right?" The mech manager didn't know but confirmed w the head mech.

I plan to keep my G80 long term. If you're like me then be patient before you push her too hard. But if you're only gonna keep her a few years then let her rip while u can.

Got back from Cars and Coffee and decided to install a mirror tap for my Uniden R8. It wasn’t too bad. Hardest part was getting the trim off. Looks so much better now, no dangling cord😁
