Beautiful setup OP!

BMW knows what they are doing by not bringing this to the US. Will coil up our lust for a wagon and sell us something more expensive in the end.

IMO skip. Way overdone for a “wagon”

Fast wagons are supposed to be
sleepers, this lost the whole plot!

The latest RS6 also has this issue.

So good. Even looking chunkier than a G80.

it looks impressive. The rear shots are magic of course.

The front.. Hoping for day someone figures out to have the CSL 3.0 front on these cars, it would give them a second lease on life.

Same.

The good news is we won't need to find 100K to buy a station wagon.

True, I would have loved to fulfill our desire to have a vehicle with a larger interior by replacing my own car with a G81 M3 but instead we got an X5 for my wife. As long as it was going to be a bigger SUV, I saved a bunch and went for a base model 40i and chose to maximize comfort. Maybe the joke's on BMW or maybe they make more profit selling me a US-built X5 than they would importing an M3? Don't know how the math works out but I'm not mad to have spent $60k after discount instead of closer to $100k.

Thx. Last thing I wanna do is spread false information but thats what BMW told me at their Experience Center at Zandvoort. But if it discontinued - its discontinued👍. But it looks fantastic in FPG. Maybe some gold 1000M wheels will set it further apart?

But a non-M wagon is probably the same cost as your X5, right? 60k or so? Just curious if you would only do a M wagon not a regular sport wagon? We had an amazing e91 and I wish my kids didn’t crash it.

Skyscraper gray and frozen pure gray are great colors. True silver grays with no beige or brown flakes. Like silver gray from the e46 m3 and CSL and space gray from the e90 gen.
