We made it down safely. So far, the hospitality is phenomenal!

I tried to order Ivory Full but it got blocked by the system. Apparently on stop sale for now? Shame, I really liked it and thought it would go well. So I ended up matching Vic55 with the Full Panda, which I am not exactly bummed about.

So stoked to be joining the club!

So I went to the dealer yesterday to look at swatches again. I initially ordered ivory but when the dealer went to build the car in the system it wouldn't accept it. Not sure why, we have the regional rep checking to see what the issue is. I dropped back to my second choice of Silverstone.

In looking at the swatches yesterday, Ivory is (naturally) much warmer and just by looking at the swatches and the paint panel, seemed like it was a better match to the hues in Aventurine. Silverstone seemed a bit too gray and cool.

Is this what you guys are seeing in real life, on a whole car? For those of you with SS interiors, any regrets? Does the SS/Black/Gray interior look too busy or does it match the car well?

I’ve seen a few posts lately about Ivory not being available, no explanation why though. I think SS/Black fits Aventurine really well, no regrets at all. I would do it again.

I found out yesterday that Ivory wasn't accepted on my order because it was already status 112 and Ivory IS an individual color which requires a longer lead time.

So, honest question. Does anyone here regret their choice of Aventurine? Anyone think it’s too….dull?. I’ve not seen AR in person, just the swatch at the dealer, but that’s hard to extrapolate over the whole car. Ever since ordering the color, all I see are drab everyday cars in standard maroon. Altimas, Impalas, CRV’s, everywhere is dull maroon! PLEASE tell me the car has more pop and life to it in person!

I know you guys are going to be biased, lol. But I’m looking for a color that does have a bit of pop while being subtle. I’ve seen Toronto red in person and while I had a bright red on my last GTI, I’m not sure it’s the color I want on an M3. Not as a daily. I’m not looking for a skittle color, but a color that has a subtle glow to it. Does AR present that way?
