Only if it gets a non- anemic engine. It's classed with so many other really great cars that do so much more than look good.

My issue is with BMW for delivering such a disappointing product. It's emblematic of their continued shift to being a lifestyle and marketing brand rather than an engineering company. They are so committed to cost savings by parts sharing that they won't develop any special drivetrain parts for $750K sports car. Just like how an M4 CSL has the same basic trans as a 320i.

A high-end product's redeeming quality should never solely be just that it's low-volume. The product itself should be special.
EXACTLY !, the above is the most insightful post in this thread (your definitely not American are you Stanman 😂just kidding).

I honestly couldn’t give a rats arse about the buyers or their lifestyle & other such utter nonsense people are dribbling on about. I’m SOLELY interested in the car (this IS a car forum) & this car is subpar for the asking price, it’s as easy as that.

The last sentence in the above quote by Stanman is GOLD & exactly what the novices on here just don’t understand.

Like others have said this is a collectors car. The streets don’t understand that as someone else (m2xxxx) had so eloquently posted; this kind of buyer has all of the other toys. Would I buy one, NO. There is a market and that is why bmw built it lol.

I mean good for him. OP looks like he’s 25 (may just age well) but shit, is he a drug lord. 700k for a bmw that has entirely to much going on it looks like shot with confetti. Why to much going on for me. If anyone gets offend I apologize in advance I’m speaking openingly like we all do.

You literally said “I don’t care how much money you have”.

In a civil world we don’t judge others spending habits. It’s their money and CLEARLY he can afford it. 750k for some people is a mere 20k for another… like I said it’s subjective and may be too much money for you, but not for someone else.

I honestly can’t stand it…I think the stock G82 looks way better.

The M4 GT3 however is gorgeous…

About 4 pages on comments and almost everybody criticizing OP or BMW ☺️
Nobody is asking about spec?
How much HP? Torque? Weight? 0-60? 1/4 mile?
Im wondering how fast this thing can go over the ring.
This is definitely a collection car and will be sitting in a garage for most of her life.
Congrats to owner 🌹

Nobody with that amount of money to spend on that thing has the time or the interest to be in this forum arguing with anyone.

On specs, probably because there were pages of comments posted when it was announced… often criticism.
Sadly most posters seem to like being critical of something they can never own.
Do I think it is as good as it should have been? No.
Would I like to own one? Sure. Especially if I already had an original CSL in my collection, which I suspect a meaningful number of the owners do.

That’s simple… its just an M4CSL with a manual box…It weighs 1625kg (the same as a CSL), it makes 412kw (7kw more than a CSL) but only makes 550nm of torque (100nm less than a CSL)…
So its obviosly going to be slower than an M4CSL & quicker than a regular manual M4, do the math, its called power to weight, it’s not difficult.🙄
In case you missed anything else…It’s also got basically the same interior as an M4CSL, same CSL exhaust, basically same CSL suspension, same CSL brakes, same CSL engine, same CSL diff, same regular M4 box…etc…do you see a pattern here ?.
In its defense it does have a white gear knob 🥳, different bumpers & grille, some carbon panels & a somewhat questionable paint job 🥴. All this for roughly 3-4 times the price of a CSL…🤣😂.

If you’ve got $800k to drop on this, I don’t think it’s an either/or “instead” kind of conversation.
