How times have changed.
My first car was a hand me down 1980 Dodge D50. I slammed it and painted it this color in 1987. Mini Trucks were cool in the 80s.
You wouldn’t believe the gay bashing I dealt with. And I’m not gay. I just like cool cars and neon pink was popular back then.
Anyway. Awesome car and color!

490 is special color. It's generic for all paint-to-sample or individual colors. You'd need to ask the dealer or call BMW to find out. But we've already figured out it's Ruby Star paint-to-sample.

Looks like Paris Hilton got a new BMW😉

IMO in darker lighting it’s not horrible but in bright light it looks pink. I’m sure it’s rare but not my taste.

In Porsche it’s ruby star which is a special paint option on the 718 and 911. No. Not a PTS which is far more expensive. It’s like an electric dark pink in real life.

Similar to Shark Blue, Ruby is going back to PTS in April.

Wow. Same for python green. Our Night blue on the macan went to PTS after we took delivery. I guess it rewards those who make braver colour choices.
