Not an M3 owner, nor have a I stayed terrible close to all the banter on this side of the forum, but what's the deal with the 1000M wheels? Something special about them? Limited edition? Made out of precious materials?

In a general sense, no nothing special about them. However, from a subjective stand point, I feel as though they are some of the best wheels released from an OEM manufacturer versus having to go with something aftermarket.

They are an expensive add-on (MSRP of $7k+ including tires) which I think makes them a relatively rare option that people are going with from either a port installed option or adding on later.

I got my set from GetBMWParts. Several other vendors out there sell them as well as EU vendors. EU vendors have lower pricing but once you add in the cost for shipping and import tax it’s close to negating the savings. Plus if you run into any quality issues with the wheels you’ll then be looking at working that out with a company outside the US.

Lose the IND sticker IMHO. It kills the lines of the car (obviously ignore me if you disagree). Car looks gorgeous though. Well done.

I wasn’t sure of the color of the car but the more I see of these M3’s the more I love it . What a great color combo . I would be hesitant to buy in that color but not anymore .

No, the yellow CSL style DRL LEDs are an aftermarket item. Easy to swap in though and you can also get RGBW kits to do any color you’d like.

The 1000M wheels can be added on as a port installed option. However, I’d recommend doing them after taking delivery as that way you’d have the two sets of wheels and you can sell the initial set to recoup come of the cost of the 1000Ms. If you do port install you won’t get the original factory wheels.

Love the color combo. Goes perfect. A CSL grille is mandatory though. And I'm not sure there is enough sidewall on that back tire...maybe its the pics. But yea...need that grille to set the car off into the stratosphere.
