I had my eye on 4 different options, ended up going with the half burnt, more of a traditional ti look to me.

Progress made. Pending my replacement intake and carbon slam panel. Eventuri, Kies, Downstar, and Goldenwrench looking good. Apex Built intake coming out for a front mount in blue with silver filters. Dusty engine bay for the loss.

FYI. I saw this in another post. Torque specs for the strut brace. 28Nm except for the front center bolt which is 56NM +90 degrees and is not reusable. Thanks to whomever posted the original pics

Thanks for reposting. I used when I did my engine cover. 28nm is alot less than you'd think.

Those that have the Downstar bolts, there’s no way the front strut hex goes to 56 Nm + 90. I tried and feel like the bolt head is going to snap.
I did 56 Nm +40 ish

Loving the Eventuri intake for my CSL. Only thing left maybe are Downstar bolts. Thanks as always to IND-Distribution for making it all come together.

Sorry for the thread necromancy but I’ve been inspired by these posts to spend (more) money and have an IND painted cover, the Downstar bolts and some Goldenwrench caps.

The bolts are on their way and was wondering if anyone has a list of the sockets I’ll need - want to check I have all the right sizes, I know I need 15mm and 13mm for the strut brace iirc

There are instructions with the kits, but, I dont remember what sizes were needed. Maybe Frank_Downstar can help?

also need 10mm socket. there are a bunch of torx bolts, i believe all of them are T30, and then there are E-torx sockets needed E18 and E14. The downstar bolts that are replacing them are all hex heads.
