I can't seem to get it to work. Does car need to be in Drive? I have my IPhone plugged into USB, had a movie playing via Amazon Prime. For Airplay it should be connecting via the USB port and displaying that for connection on my phone correct? I can hear the movie - but not sure how to display what is playing or what mode from the display I should be on?

With normal or TestFlight version I can't seem to get rid of the ASD function (still makes sound from cars speakers).

I also can't get the turn signals to do the one-touch 5 blinks.

I also appear to be clueless on how to get video from my IPhone and do screen mirroring if trying to watch something on Amazon Prime for example.

Not sure if you know this, but once you activate the 5 blinker in bimmercode, you then have to go into idrive and check the 5 blinker box to activate it.

I don't think you can get video in motion to work for an iPhone. It has to be an android device. Someone else should chime in but pretty sure that's the case.

So my mistake on the front headlights. Seems when the DRLs are ON, headlights OFF, and the car ON, the inner DRL turns off when signaling. When headlights are ON, the inner DRL stay on while signaling. I don't remember if this is how it was previously.
I still haven't done the coding, but I can confirm the car does this from factory. So I guess the g20 rear signal coding doesn't work for the front still thanks for letting us know

Can you or can you not code out ASD and it actually works with Android without using testflight? Since testflight seems to only be for apple and the Bimmercode can not transfer from Android to apple without paying for another subscription.

I have both phones but I prefer the Android. The main reason for me using bimmercode is to turn off ASD. I will code other items but my main concern is ASD. Also again I want to use the Android not apple lol. Worst case I will have to buy it for apple but people have stated they got the Android to work. Just trying to confirm before I purchase.

Thanks.

You heard the difference in the sound? I can definitely tell a lot of the noise is coming through the speakers in my car. From what I understand that it is a instantly noticeable change in sound once it is deactivated.

Thanks.

May depend on your G model. 330 vs m340i vs M3.

On my m340i I still can't tell a difference.

Eh looks like I'll just go through the apple and testflight to guarantee it works.

I did apple and TestFlight. 3 times. Doesn't make a difference to my ears.

I had installed a 10" JL and amp tapped into the underseat oem 8" subwoofer signal and the ASD was unbearable. Definitely a huge difference. I really just wanted the exhaust valves opened for the extra burbles...

At first, I wasn't able to code out the ASD using the standard steps but I contacted Bimmercode, sent the logs, and they sent instructions for Android. This method worked great, and no TestFlight needed.

1. Connect
2. SELECT Receiver Module
3. SELECT Activation codes from the menu in the top right corner
4. SELECT the ASD activation code
5. SELECT Deactivate activation code

Thank you for the response. I will be trying this instead. I can not understand the need for exhaust noise coming through the speakers. I do not like it so much that if the only way to disable it was to remove the speakers then that would be an option I would consider.

EDIT: I just tried this exact method and THANK YOU. It worked perfectly. The car no longer has ASD working. It is definitely extremely quiet inside the cabin now. I can not believe how much noise was actually coming through the speakers. This made my day lol. Also I was using an android. Pixel 6 Pro for anyone wondering. On android 13. Using the Enet cable and ethernet to usb-c connection.

Finally did it - man superrrrr easy

Also embarrassed to say didn't realize m mode didn't change engine mode settings and found my real car today playing with settings - set m1 to most aggressive settings and wow - there she is!

Coded
Blue/red ambient lighting for m, currently had orange to match classic bmw color, may go back to this

B+O sound

Turned off seat belt chime for driver

Brighter display - will have to wait til night time to see the difference

Five blinks

Any other must do's?

Waiting on my pry tool kit to install my wireless pad and I understand I'll need some coding for full functionality for that too

Reached out to our fellow member to do anti/dazzle - what equipment do I need on my end for him to do it remotely?

You dont need a pry tool to remove the wifi tray. Remove the cup holder rubber bottoms. Unscrew the bolt, pull it up and out.
