Sorry to hear. Rock chips that appear shortly after purchase are scathing.

For the anti-grille crew….

….here's number 10 today. I have seen 4 G8X's too.
Have you seen 4?

I haven't seen any rollin yet.
Four today. On average I see two a day.
Wow that's crazy, where are you located?

I unboxed my IND painted front reflectors, sent my PPF guy a deposit, and started a timer to count down the minutes until the 23rd when my car gets to the dealership.

what type of PPF are you doing? full car? what's it going to cost? I'm planning on going SunTek or maybe something else. I've had both XPEL and SunTek and I felt like SunTek was a bit better overall
Just the Full Front end XPEL PPF including the grills, mirrors and side rocker panels, rear luggage loading area etc, 50% ceramic tints all around, Opti ceramic coating all over including the wheels. $3k all in. He's doing a paint correction before doing the work

A lot of places were giving me a base quote of $2200 for front end PPF and then jacking up the price when they said 'if it needs a correction it'll be another $800' so I feel like I'm getting tints and ceramic thrown in at a decent price

Yeah that dude undervalued himself pretty drastically.

Definitely won't be in business long giving everything away like that.

I dunno about that. He's a one man show so limited over head. Most of the cost is labor, materials are not that expensive. Pretty nice money for a few days of work. I think it's a fair price. Some other places that charge more probably are just paying away the excess on additional staff and over head

I'm not in that business, what do I really know.

Can you post some close up pictures of the windscreen. I’m thinking of doing the same.

Haven't seen any around here, and have only seen--from a distance, 1 C8 Corvette. Did see a McLaren 670 at Walmart, of all places. And there are 2 Ferraris around here, 430 and 360 Stradale. Tons of Porsches, but have only seen 2 Boxster Spyders, no GT4 Cayman. One Spyder was purple--a color I generally dislike, but it was gorgeous. Paint by sample, obviously. The NA 4 liter sounds great. The turbo 4s sound like crap.

Nice! Did mine yesterday and used launch control right away. The initial bite/push is no where as crazy as my 2018 S63 but after 20-30km’s it really moves!

I see tons of GT4’s and GT3’s here. It’s the M’s that are not that common for some reason. I had my M2C for almost 2 and a half years and saw maybe 10 others during time (minus the M2 that we had).
I was really contemplating getting the new inline 6 Cayman GTS but even the bare bones PDK was reaching 110K CAD so I passed for now.
