i sincerely hope that all you guys come thru without a stop sale. that means that the chips are available and MY stop sale should be easily rectified. fingers crossed for you...and me

Just got off the phone with the genius, yup have two stop sales for camera and radio.

The genius seemed optimistic though that by the time i got to port in America the parts would be in.

Sent my broker a text and waiting to hear back.

there's a ship that leaves tomorrow for Charleston. hopefully, im on it. the next one leaves next Tuesday. both get there around the middle of the month.

Same same..camera and radio. Genius says that the parts are being shipped to VPC's in the U.S. and mostly the repairs will happen there. My car is going to an eastern seaboard VPC and the estimate is for it to be in transit or on a ship by end of next week. Delivery date to the dealership will be late October or early November.

I hope we get on Polaris Highway, arrives in Galveston on 10/7! It has the shortest travel time to Galveston of any of the ships in near term.

you may just need to let it update. im kinda surprised that ours says 'in transit' as the boat that i *think* its on just departed, today. i'll call Genius to confirm. regardless, its likely a hurry up and wait situation. still have the stop sales to deal with once in the States.

Apart from the jealousy...

Finally took delivery of my M3 yesterday, it was delivered straight to my door.

First driving impressions, I'm really impressed. Great handling and the car seems planted. Drifting is quite easy. I didn't opt for the drift analyzer package or the 10 stage traction control but I bet all my drifts are 5 out of 5. Butt dyno says 0-60 is 2.5 or below. Granted it is RWD only. Will get accurate results with draggy after breakin service.

One thing I wished I opted for was the shadowline headlights. Other than that, no regrets. Pics below.
