I know this is an old thread, but I thought I'd chime in anyway. When it comes to leasing or buying, it really depends on what you prefer and your situation. Leasing can be awesome if you like having a new car every few years and don't want to deal with long-term commitments. Plus, if you tend to get tired of cars pretty quickly, leasing might be a good fit for you. You can enjoy the latest models without the hassle of selling or trading in your car. Just keep in mind that leasing usually comes with mileage restrictions, so if you're a heavy daily driver, that might be something to consider. On the other hand, financing gives you the freedom to customize your car, and there's no mileage limit. If you're okay with having a car payment for a while and prefer to have ownership, financing might be the way to go. Anyway, consider reaching out to a specialist for some help (at least a Mortgage Broker in St Helens). Anyway, just my thoughts. And sorry for bumping the old thread.

OP I would lease.
Reviving this thread is worth it just for seeing how poorly this take has aged. Two and a half years later, dealers are still looking for ADM, there's still wait lists for allocations, and BMW is still giving 0 support on leases.

Always funny to hear the vocal minority of people who want to leave their opinions of how they're so sure of how the future will look. Many people don't really dislike the look of the car, and it's enough for people to want to keep buying it.

There seems to be a lot of turn over for resales (could be selection bias from the groups I'm in) so leasing may not be a bad idea for many...with car A.D.D.
