People are entitled to voice their opinion whether it’s for the car or against the car. Not sure what the issue is- b ya maybe eventually the people that are disappointed and don’t like it will move on and the people that do can be in their bubble and everyone’s happy

The problem I see here is that they are moving toward homogeneity. Domagoj Dukec seems to take his styling cues from Lexus, Infiniti and Audi and not from BMW...

Couldn't agree more... (the loss of the Hofmeister kink from the M4 makes the side view look like a mustang to me, the back looks like a Lexus and the front has a bit of everything)

BUT I care much more about the driving experience... so long as it drives like something really special and different I can overlook the styling issues. And for me that means so much more than straight-line 0-60 times. If it drives like an Audi RS5 then I may as well get an Audi.

Let's hope they pull something special out of the bag (especially with the transmission which is currently my biggest worry)

The main reason I dispise the design is because it's not ressembling a BMW (it's lexus to me) and the grill feels like a pure provocation. On an M car with 510hp, I don't prefer the equivalent of a huge middle finger popping up in rear mirror of the vehicle in front.
The board and the designers made it worse by stating: when you're not in favour, you don't understand beauty and evolution. Which is utter crap and confirms they consider their customers to be morons that swallow all they push to us. Never in my book, evolution equaled to ugly. For BMW it does now.
