I have BRG on order
I wonder if there is any other G80's in the US that have British Racing Green i've seen it on a G82 but haven't seen any one with it on M3.

Yup.. I have an Oxford Green G80 on order. 3rd G80 I've seen in that color.

I ordered a Verde British Racing (metallic) last August, got it in December. Couldn't be happier with it. Can't really tell the difference between mine, BRG, Oxford, Boston, etc. on the computer, but came out nice. When I was trying to figure out what it might look like, was looking at "Verde" Porche and Ferrari pics...not sure I saw any BMW ones.
Mine is sunroof/black wood inside, Tartufo, X-Drive, etc. First pic kind of shows the sunlight/non-sunlight difference. |

Was curious how you landed on the Verde version? Was it a little darker? I see in the M-Customizer it still says it is a flat paint but appears slightly darker. Did your dealership have a sample of both? I was also considering Goodwood Green Pearl too. Appreciate the insights! Hope you are loving it.

Really didn't know, kind of just landed on the Verde because it was on the metallic side of the individual colors. Really the plan was just BRG. Definitely darker, really don't see the BRG except in pretty strong sunlight. The Verde definitely gives it a sleeker look in the shade, almost looks black (except the actual black accents give it needed, slight contrast). Really I'm sure I would be happy with the regular BRG, too. Ha-ha, no my dealership didn't help much. I was pretty much flying blind. The Ferrari and The Porsche Verde pics helped. I would be curious to know how much lighter yours remains in the shade than mine...congrats and post pics when you get it!!! |
