Any military overseas?

This is for fellow military overseas to get an idea. Not sure how many there are on here but I just picked up my 22' M3 manual in April. Ordered in November 21'. I wanted to share a small section of my purchase order so if you are here, you can get an idea of savings. Immediate 10% off MSRP, zero taxes on the car as well. If anyone has questions let me know.

its no long 10%. As of march 15th, discount went down to 5%

yea it's unfortunate :/ guess supply shortage and high demand drove the decision.

if only porsche had a military sales program xD

Yeah, it's 5% now but it's supposed to go back to 10% sometime later. When is later?? No one knows but it could be 2023 or 2024 is what the dealers are guessing. I ordered my M3 and X3 back in December 2021 when I heard the discount was being dropped to 5%.

Military sales korea here, when 5% was announced they got like 6 orders prior to the discount cutoff. Hopefully I'll see my car in June... Built on week 10.. Ordered Nov 2021.

Hm taking a while huh? I order mine November but maybe because I went to Germany to pick up it was quicker? Not sure

Yeah our orders with discounts are at priority level 3 I noticed. So I got a build week on week 10 when I ordered in Nov. It got loaded onto a boat on April 2 and been slowly traveling the world from Germany to Panama, now it's in San Diego.. #glovis supreme

G80 Brooklyn grey rwd with Fiona red int. First build week with the anniversary emblems so that's a plus.. Can't wait.. Driving a 2007 Daewoo beater at the momenr

Hahaha nothing like those European beaters. When I got to Italy I bought like a 98 golf off someone pcs'ing. Thankful I got my car when I did! Nice choice. Same exterior as what I got. I didn't know mine would have the 50 anniversary emblems so I was happy seeing it on pick up day

I'm vaguely familiar with this program. Can anyone explain the basics to me? I understand you can place an order if you are TDY overseas? I am Air National Guard. Toying with putting in for retirement next year, but I'd definitely stay longer for 10% off an M3.... LOL.

I assume options as added are discounted as well?

I believe you can take advantage with TDY orders as well. Yes all accessories can be added into the total price of the car, then it's 10% off. You can do individually as well for 10%. It is no longer 10%, they lowered it early this year to 5%

With my23 increase and 5% discount, it's still a good deal.. Can't beat 10% off My22 though... It's literally the same with I drive difference which I don't mind the 7. Wish I could afford the csl, 133k no Mark up is amazing. I believe military sales has 1 or 2 allocation. The 10% won't be in effect probably for a year + is what my dealer is projecting...

OH and receiving my car tomorrow! Been at sea for everrr

They said 10% might return? The local dealer here said it's permanent.
