Allocation Secured!!

Well guys my dealer finally called me to say they have an allocation for August for me! I put my deposit down in early April. He stated its scheduled for production end of August. When do you think guys think it would arrive to the dealer?

Congrats! If you have a build week already, that's pretty good. You can add the production number to your MyBMW MyGarage page and track it using that (ask your dealer rep for the production number).

If your production week is end of August, that's probably late September or early October delivery (typically about a month from production end to delivery)

1. Ask your dealer to tell you what build week it's scheduled for.
2. Go to this section of the forum: https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/fo...play.php?f=867
3. Talk with the rest of the homies in your build week when they think things will happen. Depends on where you are in the US, and how long your car gets held at port.

Congrats!

All dependent on when it goes into production and if there are delays. I also received my allocation in August (of 2022), and I took delivery this past April. 😑

Easier if you ask him for the production number instead, add it on MyGarage in MyBMW (online) and you can use the Chrome Extension to track it without having to bother him.

Congrats! if you use that chrome extension I linked before, you can see your production date, and that'll give you your build week.

2k under MSRP? How did you swing that?

We have bought several cars from Bobby Rahal, mostly due the amazing salesperson we had at the time. Once he left, we never got treated well after that, which is disappointing considering we bought 4 bmw's from them. The salesman went to P&W and he really took care of me on this car.

I did call Bobby Rahal and he told it would be 1.5 years to get one and they would need $2.5k down and to fill out an application. I said no thanks.

Unfairly of course! I have a corporate code discount and then loyalty on top of that. So purely luck as for the discounts. As for getting MSRP that is just because I deal straight with the Sales Manager and have sent many referrals over the years and have bought a few cars from them in the past myself. Its all about relationship building really. Also because I have ordered before no deposit required. Just needed to fill out the usual credit app.

This is highly dealer dependent. I also got $2k under MSRP for being a repeat customer, but my dealer's policy is also to never charge over sticker, so I'm already in a good position to start.
