OTA Update in USA
Wondering has anyone in the states received the OTA update that was recently rolled out in Germany? I'm still on the March version and update received yet.

I heard rumors that m sound control is now an option in the setup menu and savable to M1/M2 (this was already a thing but just not it's own option in the setup mode) But I also heard rumors that the update has drastically changed the sound of the car? Reports of people getting farty backfires on up shifts (I loved this on my dads old 650 lol) I also heard rumors that the burble has gotten deeper as well as the valve now being fully open when the car is in its most aggressive setting

Nothing yet here in TX… hope to also see an update to fully enable the Laser Lights considering the US is planning to make it legal.

Here, better information: "The text that enables this change is relatively straightforward. Under section 24212 of the bill, which is appropriately titled "HEADLAMPS," it's stated that "Not later than 2 years after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall issue a final rule amending Standard 108"—that's the transportation regulation pertaining to headlight design. The bill states that this section of the code should be amended "to allow for the use on vehicles of adaptive driving beam headlamp systems." In a nutshell, once H.R.3684 gets passed, the transportation secretary has two years to make adaptive headlights a thing in the United States. It could happen sooner, but that's the maximum timeline." https://www.thedrive.com/news/43146/...structure-bill |

My car shows it running version 07/2021.62. It came with that version already installed. That sounds like the most recent build?
Regarding sound control…yes, you can save this feature on/off as part of your M1/M2 button settings. I don't know what to compare it to to see if it's different from the prior version.

Instead of comparing geographic information on who can download the update, you should be comparing models…M3 base, M4 base, M3 comp, M4 comp, M3 xdrive, M4 xdrive, G83.
It's not like you all are waiting on a package delivery or a cold front to arrive!

That may be part of it, but I think the line or thinking here is it being released regionally |

I have the M4 base. I didn't realize it might be model specific. Anyway, I still can't figure out how to get my digital key working either 😭
