[Automotive Goals]

I ordered a Saphire Black m4 and was week 40. Then switched color to Tanzanite way before week 40. Then my car got pushed to week 43. Then it got pushed to week 45. I figured if I am waiting, might as well order the color I really want (did not order the color initially, because I did not want to wait too long). So now I switched color to Frozen Black.

Unfortunately, now I do not have a build week at all. I keep calling Genius for the past week and they keep saying that they are probably trying to put the special color in to the order bank and find a week to get it done.

I wanted to see if anyone else has Frozen Black on order and if they have a confirmed build date (nowadays nothing is confirmed with BMW). Maybe they will add me to the same week that someone else is getting it painted in Frozen Black. This way I can get an idea of potential build week of my car. The wait is a killer, but now, not knowing any date at all, is really getting to me! I know, I know....patience!

It's in 102 now, waiting for a production week. I'm guessing it may be scheduled for sometime in December

considered it but i love blue so went with frozen blue.. i am waiting for production which is set for mid/late next month

Yea, I love blue too. Had a lot of blue cars

2008 550i - carbon black
2008 m3 - jerez black
2016 M4 - Azuite Black (very similar to carbon black)
2018 M4 - Tanzanite Blue (my favorite color)
2020 M4cs - San Marino Blue

The issue with this car in particular, is that front grille. Even though it has grown on me a lot more then I thought it would, the black colors just hide it so much better. The Frozen Black and even Saphire Black make this particular model look so much more aggressive.

Obviously that is just my opinion. Rented a red G82 about a month ago and that's when I realized the grille is not that terrible and switched colors to Tanzanite....but that Frozen Black is just fire. I keep seeing videos of Frozen Black and it just looks like a monster!

Do you have a scheduled production week yet, or just waiting for a specific week still? Maybe they will paint all frozen colors same week.

I've ordered frozen deep grey. My understanding is individual colours are painted in batches. I could have got my xdrive M4 this month if I'd chosen a stock colour. I'm enjoying that wait because I'm getting my perfect spec and don't need the car as a daily. Expected delivery date December 29th.

Forgot what week it was but sure it's late November. I'm in Scotland so quicker delivery I hope.

Popped into my dealer last week and they have the Kith edition. Looks stunning, pictures don't come close to how it actually looks. I was 50/50 between frozen black/grey.

I am status 112 and told mid/late Nov on production.. that's all I know thus far

My incoming G82X is Frozen Black.

Went with orange. I had 2 m4s before with golden brown, which was my favorite, so it was easy pick. Silverstone would have been my second option.
