Anyone been told their M3/M4 order will be MY2023?

The changeover for MY23 happens from July built cars.
Has anyone been told by their Australian dealer that their car will be MY23?
Has anyone had confirmation of changes? The iX iDrive 8 style centre screen is said to be a possible addition

This is an interesting post for me as i have just placed a deposit for a car and told they are trying to get an allocation.

I too would like to know what changes are likely as i like the car as it is.

RonBurgundy - i am not too familiar with the cars, but are you saying the centre screen is possibly coming from the 8 series? have i read your reply correctly?

There are rumors the LCI will get the new I drive 8 which is in the new IX and I4. I personally, for the G80 and G82 love the traditional, if you can call the digital screens traditional, looking layout of the screens. Think it fits the performance side far better.

The new I Drive 8, fits the electric cars way better. I understand it in those.

It is up to the individual though.

Yes there are rumours the MY23 cars will have the large single screen from the i4. Most likely this will apply to the G80 and later the G82
Next M2 spy photos already confirmed to have the new screen

I agree it suits the electric cars more

I looked up the screen you were talking about but lost the edit post button so couldnt edit my previous post.

What were they thinking when they decided to add this screen to anything other than electric cars.... if you ask me its horrid looking dash

The G80 will definitely get the ID8 from July 2022 onwards. Would anyone happen to know what the cutoff date in July would be for the production of the facelift model?

My understanding is that they stop preLCI production as of June and it may take a week or two to start up on 2023 production probably mid-July?
