This isn't Covid. It is endless money printing that causes the need for production of goods to far exceed supply.

Oddly enough the tracker is back to showing scheduled for production again. It changed sometime between 8-10pm EST which I feel like is an odd time but who knows. Progress I suppose

I've been scheduled for week40 until last monday, when my status dropped back to 111 as well.

Just to keep you calm, after seeing the status, I called my friend at munich plant just to know about the situation.

He told me that to avoid the situation to have cars built partially (in Baltimore, as of today, more than 300 m3s/m4s are sitting uncompleted waiting for the RAM-camera reftrofits, some of them are there since august......) theyr're tending to cancel the prodcution of the uncompletable orders. Maybe mine had one or two optional supply issue by the supply chain, so that they dropped the order to 111.

It drops back automathically if there's something wrong, and a maximum estimated completion week appears on the system; in my case week48. But this not means that my car will be built for sure at the end of november (I hope it not to be produced so late!), it can happens that it moves forward through the production pipeline even next monday, who knows. Even yours could move forward at any moment. It depend on the supply chain. Other users here were scheduled for week45 and this week their car went into production for instance.

Just be patience.....it's the only thing we can do. I know it's frustrating, believe me....I do, as I've ordered mine the 4th june...and still don't have it produced. additionally, I sold my M140i at the end of august because the dealer ensured me of the arrival of my new car...and now...the situation is completely different.

So....let's keep calm....the car will worth the wait.

My status on mybmw.com via my iphone shows 111.

My status on any computer shows status 112.

I have removed all history, cookies and site data from my iphones safari too. And it still shows 111 on the iphone.

I agree! I didn't opt for parking assist, carbon seats and any individual item (about 76k msrp). Together with a manual transmission, maybe it requires less chips in total so BMW moved me forward from week 44? Anyway I will call Genius again for an updated production week. I will probably end up in week 41 thread later.

Hope you get your car soon and it is a pleasure to be in this thread since September!

I feel like parking assistance package may take longer due to needing another chip like you said. Not sure about carbon buckets though. I ordered a 6MT as well and a SA I spoke to at one dealership told me they actually get produced faster than the competitions, but not sure how true that is.

For better or worse, I am a god damned purist. With a manual option, ordering a competition never once crossed my mind.
