Not in a million years is this an old man color, it's classy, elegant, stylish and individual, not your classic beige/brown leather of old! If anyone is considering it….do it! You will not regret it I promise.
If you could get some pics up that would be awesome! Did you also do shadowline lights or standard?

Spec is still currently IOMG / KO with 826m black wheels and red calipers.

You got good taste

So I actually had a 2021 that I posted a few days ago that was unfortunately totaled, and I’m getting a 2022 (Build Week 36).

That one was the exact same spec (IOMG / KO, Shadowline lights, red calipers) except it had the 826m bi-colors instead of blacks I’m getting now. I felt like I had to switch something around and seeing some of the pictures in this thread with the black wheels I liked the aggressiveness.

I was debating between silverstone, tartufo or even black and still settled on KO at the end. I just like how vibrant it is and think it contrasts well with green. Tartufo is great too and probably the best pairing but I feel like it loses out some of the sportiness being single tone.. but I’d have loved to see it in person. Sometimes I do feel like KO might be a little TOO bright in pictures but in person it just works so damn well. Maybe it’s the same with Tartufo

I shared literally every thought on the interior. At first I was like it is "too loud" and "not black" and then I came around to the...it just looks excellent.

Made one last change. So i'm switching back to Tartufo after all. I came across some more pictures and i'm actually really digging it. It might lose out a bit of the sportiness but i'm ok with it. The Kyalami does feel a little too bright for me. It's super cool but I prefer the darker shade in this case. Plus I felt like I just had to switch out something else from my 2021 build, and this wasn't available on it so it will make this car feel more exclusive to me

I also like this description of it:

"The photos that are being taken make it look much lighter. It’s more of a medium dark brown with some deep red tones. It’s awesome. Not the light brown the pics make it look like at all."

That sounds pretty damn sexy to me. Here's some more pics if this helps anyone:

Stalked by an Alfa

Another random Starbucks-after-work-just-to-get-out-of-the-house shot.

The Alfa in the background was amusing. The gent who owned it didn't bother to park in any of the many nice, large parking spots available...he just left his car by the curb. And made it difficult for the people leaving the Starbucks drive-through to get out. He watched multiple cars get annoyed before he finally pulled his car into a spot.

I ended up chatting with another 'bucks customer about my car and car stuff in general rather than reading the book I brought, which was fun.

It's not terribly visible in the crappy photo, but the Alfa's hood doesn't sit flush. The guy I was chatting with asked Alfa guy about the hood and apparently he had taken it to the dealership to get fixed multiple times while owning it but it never got fixed. No idea if it's a construction flaw or a repair issue.

Seems like when the sky reflects it can cast a blue, but the car is green.

Wow. That green is so eye-catching and spectacular that even the LED lights look amazing on it. I've seen some other colors with the LEDs and thought the car looked a little bland and lacking, but this is the first time I don't think it makes that much of a difference. Actually think it gives it a unique look!

I like that the center of it is tartufo and not black. I got Fiona, but wish it wasn't black too

Oh you mean the two tone seats? That's funny because originally I wasn't a fan of the single color (as I originally had KO with the orange / black) but now i've grown to like the Tartufo single tone.

Either way you can't go wrong. Fiona is going to be hot

It's teal or emerald green in sunlight and forest green in shade or indoors.

Yes. I still think it will look good. My F80 has sakhir orange, no black at all in the seats. The glove box and center dash is black. The Fiona seats will be black in the middle, but the glove box and center dash will be red. I prefer how my F80 is, but this is a minor criticism of Fiona on the G8x. I'm still exited for it.
