Interesting. I never ever ever would have got that. I still think it looks like a variant of old shit.
Also, I'd have passed on the breathalyzer even knowing I hadn't had anything to drink unless the cop could have come up with some reason he needed to do it other than a dumb pull over to comment on your plate.

Here is mine, after few long weeks sticked with my nick name as all of my friends also insisted. Then I learned that just few days before I went to order the plates, Colorado introduced back historical plates ALL IN BLACK !!!!
Look on final result! Love Colorado |

Plates in Colorado are expensive, especially the first year. At $1700, this was my cars most expensive accessory.

I believe that was with initial registration too. At least, it was for me.

No, and yes. Personalized was only $60 a year if I recall. But the ownership tax and registration fees are based on the price of the car and are quite high.
It goes down each year, but slowly. If you own your car for 20 years or so, the plates are around $50 a year, or so. Roads are expensive to build and maintain here, and it seems car registration is one of the ways we pay for it, or so I've been told. |

Yeah, I skipped the laser lights and Carbon buckets, so I could afford to put plates on the damn thing.

I gave mine VBLAZE. It's gonna be a while before I get my plates though.
So in my friend group we all name our cars, and the first letter of the car is going to be the first letter of the brand, so since this is a BMW, I named it Blaze, inspired by a character in Ace Combat 5. But Blaze is taken in Oregon, so I took the V from my car color Voodoo Blue, and made it VBLAZE. I wanted to use 4BLAZE since mine is a M4 but that was taken too sadly. |
