Planning on 30 days as a round figure. The boat goes like 15 knots and probably has one other stop. I also opted for the port installed M “HAS” kit. Hopefully performance center isn’t super booked yet. It looks like I may be just barely on the early side of the season. I would guess all in probably May 6.

what there is a port installed HAS kit? How did you get that scheduled and how much additional was that?

I'm getting the KW HAS kit installed right after the 1200 mile break in period

8am Germany time the status updated to code 151 with production date still at 3/20/24

2/27/24 : allocation received / order placed
2/28/24 : ordered received by BMW AG
2/29/24 : schedule for production
3/5/24 : Production Begins : entered queue
3/18/24 : Exterior Body Assemble begins

It's basically the same thing as KW HAS. I'm told others have had the BMW version installed before delivery/at the port. My dealer says he will have it done. Honestly not sure of the price. I believe $1800? if the other versions are $900-$1500 then the BMW one for $1800 installed and ready to go with warranty seems fair. They will need to install/adjust headlights/align car.

Sometimes I have regret for not doing frozen black but longevity wise that’s a pain to maintain

I keep telling myself I can just wrap the car satin black after enjoying the oem color for a year lolol

Also putting ppf on frozen black Is a nightmare because even the matte ppf changes the color a little bit from the original

100% - I think frozen black (or dark gray) is the best looking color (Batmobile?) but I don’t want to deal with the extended production time or upkeep.

QC for 3.5 days including Saturday/Sunday

Between Wallenius Wilhelmsen and K Line - top 2 shipping companies BMW uses - I counted 7 different dates between March 31 and April 16 where you could catch a boat. There are some more in April as well. Seems like you have good options.

Yeah, in Georgia. I think Baltimore is the closed you'd be to. But don't quote me on it, I'm in Canada and no expert about deliveries in the US haha
