The first day i got the car i accidentally did a pedal pushdown and it redlined. Am i good

hopefully i didnt do any damage. Literally 4 miles in i accidentally did it

Don’t believe the sarcastic posts above. Your engine will make a bit less power than if you followed procedure, but it won’t be too noticeable.

How do you accidentally put the gas pedal to the floor anyway. That's akin to accidentally shooting someone.

More and more of these stories are making me scared to drive around some of you.

ripped the turn signal stalk off of my car but it feel into the footwell, wanted to finish the job by smashing it but smashed the pedal instead
