Lec got in a flap about that too but it was so dangerous at that closing speed, there's no telling if 22 would pull out onto the track in front so Max and Lec had to slow.

The last lap incident in short :
Yuki was just in that combination of turns , when he heard over the board radio that Checo and MAX were coming in their last fast lap ..
By this Yuki panicked , so he was slowing down and he decided to let them by and finally he ran completely off track , because he would hinder them in that combination of turns anyway ..
By Yuki's move , Checo was really surprised because he was thinking that Yuki crashed !
Then MAX came and he got suddenly Yuki and Checo in front of him..
According MAX's telemetry , he lost there at least 0.3 sec. by lifting his pedal ..
That last lap from MAX was purple at that moment , but if that was the pole lap . We'll never know ..

So yeah ...For MAX the '5H1T was real !

Well , here my thoughts in short :
The story line is unique , It's about one man , a lovely dog and 2 robots .
They are going through the earth's destiny , the extreme climate change and extreme hot sunlight temps .
The sun is deadly dangerous , and most people are exterminated and dangerous by the lack of food , because everything is burned by the sun and the radiation is enormous .
The special effects are very well done !

I won't tell you the end of the movie , because I think you will watch it as well..
Actually the whole story is so damn sad , it's very clear that the movie is a drama !
Tom Hanks actors skills are so damn good as usual !
I'll give Finch the movie a 8/10

So yeah , you should watch it as well .
