Annual Service at Dealer - Timed/Expire?
I took delivery of my car end of September 2022, and break-in service happened end of November 2022.
My car is now reminding me that I need to do a service by end of September, but I've barely driven 3.5k miles since the break-in service. I work from home and don't put many miles on it. I also have about 3 months left until I hit the annual mark in November since the break-in. If I ignore the preset reminder and wait till November, will BMW consider the first year service skipped? I'm not sure if they track it since last service or when the car reminds you. |

Probably, oil changes are also based on time not just miles driven. So 1 year or 10000 miles which ever comes first.

Thanks! It's so weird that they go 1 year based off of car purchase rather than break in service since it hasn't been a year since the oil change yet..
