Just got off the phone with BMW Genius and was given a build week 24 with a production start date of June 9-15. Vehicle was ordered on March 31st.

Don't know if this is true or not but this might be the last g80's build week to have the laser lights, per BMW Genius.

FWIW, that will probably be the week your car is finished with production. Genius told a lot of us the same thing and we all finished that week.

Ah. Yeah, I’m still under the impression that the vehicle probably won’t be delivered until October.

Hmm my individual paint got accepted yesterday. I have a production number. I was told that production maybe pushed to July since it’s individual 🤷🏽‍♂️then another week plus since I have port installed options. By the time I get the car I’ll be putting winter wheels and tires on.

Java Green and I am getting the KW HAS port installed. Just spoke with a Genius and it seems that it will be a late June build. Build week 23-29.

Nice! That was one on the colors I liked as well. You may get your sooner than mine. What trim level did you get? Are you planning on getting winter wheels and tires or are you in a warmer state?

M4. Pretty loaded. I didn’t get CCB or Buckets. I am not as agile as I was in my younger days.

I am 5hrs west of you in Des Moines. Not sure yet on winter tires. I had them on my GTR and they were great. I do have a Ford Bronco to drive in the winter. The salt is the bigger issue more than the slippery roads.

I tried the buckets and at 6’2” 240 lbs, it was a pass. I have an awd car too, plus a kid hauler. The thought of a near six figure car being parked in the garage for 4-6 months out of the year doesn’t sit well with me. Plan on driving the M3 as often as possible. Will get it PPF’ed and I already get current cars washed weekly.

I drove my GTR thru the winter. I put nearly 40K miles on it in 3 years. I suspect I will drive the new M car a fair amount as well.

I am planning on new wheels so likely will place winter tires on stock wheels. I still have wheel/tire sets from cars I sold a few years back. My wife hates the amount of car parts I have stored in my “back shed”. Hopefully she won’t notice another wheel/tire combo.

Was told my car should be week 24 as well. Was going to go individual color java green but decided to go São Paulo Yellow. Order was excepted but was told my may production got pushed back to June.

She already had that mapped out within a day of me ordering. I usually plan on my cars costing 2x of MSRP. She seems to find a way to want things that cost a similar amount of my car purchases.
