Likewise, you M3cs is awesome! I did however click on you other builds and boy is that 992 c2s sexy!!!! I almost purchased a GT silver car a few months ago, but was a few hours too late with my deposit. It is a thing though, my lowly 2 series is a very fun car. She should be even better now that the gintani crank hub is done and the DME is cloned and tuned...

Beautiful car congrats! I wish they had a manual CS option with a stronger transmission/clutch and AWD. That for me would be the perfect combo.

Personally I’d go gloss ppf where it’s a CS and a special edition car. Also that red stripe is vinyl and easy to remove.

Enjoy in good health!

Yup, that’s the only kryptonite of the S55 and you addressed it.
The tune will transform the car! When I did the Gintani crank hub, also done by ACM, I did a S2 tune on the car and then eventually S3.
Feels like a whole new car. Enjoy and be safe!

You and me both!

I agree, that is a very strong argument for keeping it gloss! Plus, that shine of the deep black is really nice.

Thank you!

I'm going to stay around 500whp. Most say that the CH does not need to be done, but I did it anyway. My car has only 2k miles, so perhaps I nuts. For perspective I did rod bearings on a 19k mile E92 M3. Albeit, supercharged...

As for your wrap, I 100% NOT matte. The car looks amazing as is!!!

Here we go-

So I finally got car back from Autocouture after a week and a half and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. I am definitely ecstatic. I couldn’t wipe the grin off my face when I picked up the car.

Huge thank you to team ACM as well as ASW for their work on the car!

Here’s what I had done:

* full gloss PPF including CF seat backs + ceramic coating / 45% window tint
* Square OEM 827M (rear wheels) in gold bronze with PS4S tires
* Future Classic 12mm spacers / stud kit
* IND painted front reflectors / Acexxon rear reflector inserts (horizontal slats)
* AST ALS (adjustable lowering spring kit)
* Dinan midpipe

Gloss vs Stealth PPF
This was honestly such a tough call of me. When I took delivery of the BSM CS, I already knew I was going with the matte PPF to get that stealth/satin look. But as I waited for my PPF appointment, I started to second guess my initial decision. Here’s why:

- The CS is a ‘special’ car and I wanted to keep it very close to OEM as possible.
- When I did the stealth look on my F80 back in 2017, at some point during my ownership, I was tempted to switch to a gloss PPF. That never happened when I had my 992. Not for once did I think about going stealth.
- Stealth is definitely cooler, no doubt, but I wasn’t going for the cool factor. I wanted something more classy, more timeless if you will. And that is why I pivoted last minute to go with the gloss PPF.

Wheels
As mentioned previously, I wanted to keep this build OEM+ and that meant either getting aftermarket wheels with the design aesthetic of the 827Ms in gold bronze or just keeping the OEM wheels with spacers. I went with the latter.

However, the 19s in the front bothered me a bit. In my opinion, they look too small on the CS, especially in this finish (might have gotten away with it in black though).
That said, I researched a bit on wheel offsets for the G80 and the OEM rears were actually not bad with spacers. Hence, I ended up sourcing another set of rear 827Ms in the OEM gold bronze finish and this is the result - I am now running a square set of rears on the CS along with a square 285/30 PS4S tire set up with 12mm spacers.

Suspension
There was no doubt that I was lowering the car - not only for the cosmetic enhancement, but for a better driving experience as well. I initially had a KW HAS kit on order but ended up going with an AST adjustable lowering spring kit. ACM actually asked me if I wanted to try something different - it was more cost effective vs the KW HAS and it has more flexibility with lowering the fronts. So far so good. Car still feels like stock. More to come after a week or two when the springs settle.

Dinan Midpipe
This was honestly a blind purchase. Have yet to hear this in person and there aren’t a lot of videos out there. I just felt like I needed something to improve the exhaust note of the car. It’s still very restrictive - stock. The Dinan midpipe was a risk but it’s relatively inexpensive compared to what’s out there. So far, I’m liking it! It does improve the tone a bit. I’ll definitely report back and give a review in a few weeks.

Looks
Fantastic. Definitely agree leaving the gloss black. Frozen is good but frozen black is......played out, IMO.

Yeah, the frozen finish definitely still looks cool but hard to argue against your point…

I dont have the exact numbers but I believe the fronts were close to being maxed out drop wise and the rears still has some room.
