Also the ride is stiff enough in comfort and I can't imagine wanting to mess with that. Add in the wife may drive the car and hit a curb is too much for me to worry about. I think we get caught up in throwing money at all of these mods and seeing what others are doing, I know I did.

I have Pirellis and I'm running 12 front and 15 rear. No rubbing at all on full lock. It's very close to making contact, but it doesn't. I originally had 10mm in the front and was disappointed. 12 is much better. I would eventually do 15 once I switch out to Michelins.

I’d trust future classic over anyone. And H&R. They only do 5/12/15/18. Iirc it was due to the 10mm not having enough metal or lip to work properly. That being said people have run 10s in other brands successfully.

Pics Below. 15mm rear and 12mm front with Pirellis and no rubbing. I'll be lowering my car once I receive the KW HAS kit.

Running 18 mm front and 15 mm rear with Pirellis. Modded my fenders cutting 3 vanes on the left and one on the right to get rid of the rubbing.
You don't NEED to cut the vanes, it just makes noise with zero chance of damage. The tires will basically break off one side of the vanes when reversing close to full lock. The noise it makes is horrendous without the vanes completely removed. Before FF885D65-5F10-4D7A-92DA-20DC156169BE_1_105_c You can see the vanes broken on the left side in the picture above. After 6E8E2A7F-F798-4242-B158-C0B16CAB34A4_1_105_c Results Untitled It is an aggressive setup, but when we mounted 15's at EAS I was pretty disappointed. The 18's are perfect to my eye with the front wheels flush with the fenders. |

Took a heat gun, heated the whole green area until it became a bit soft, put pressure on marked area with something long that covers the whole area..and used ice spray so it stays in the new position….now on full turn there is 1" space…to be sure done that on left and right side, to have enough space on possible even more aggressive setups That way u basically formed the whole thing a bit different and u can't say that anything has been done to them. (thanks for the pics, used yours for explaining) |

I can almost guarantee you will rub unless you melt or cut into the fender lining. I have KW HAS with 15f/12r and still rub while backing up toward the passenger side even after raising the front to 1/2 height. I’m going to try the 12mm spacers up front and see how that works until it’s time to swap out the Pirelli’s for MPS4s. |
