Hey guys, I am the second person on the waitlist at a dealership in CT and I have put a 1k nonrefundable deposit down on the car. I can no longer purchase this car whenever it does come so I was wondering if anybody was looking to get into this spot. FYI the waitlist at this specific dealership is 6 people long now. Non refundable deposit to get on a waitlist? Whoa, that's never a good idea. A deposit once an allocation is secured and your specs are locked, that's one thing.

An order without an allocation is literally nothing , I'm not sure that non-refundable deposit would hold up to any scrutiny. I would try to get it back.
