If you are going to install yourself, I highly recommend Stew's Garage in Kirkland. You can rent out a lift. |

Rewatched the video and wondering if ok to remove the adjuster to get a bit lower in the front. Probably not recommended….

The drops were VERY close to being equal on both so tolerances are pretty tight. I highly suggest measuring out the gaps with digital calipers before doing your own or having someone else do the install. My drop ended up being 25mm(7mm gap between adjusters) in the rear and 15mm(2mm gap between adjusters) up front. The rear will probably settle a little so measuring the gap difference in relation with the max drop amount should be spot on in the rear. I will have to wait and see with the front. The fronts are the ones that usually settle more. I am going to raise the rear 5mm tomorrow and drop to max amount in the front. A month later I will readjust again. Just to clarify the kit we fitted in the video had already been on the car for around 1000 miles before we re-fitted it for the video. So it was already fully settled.

@Imran@Evolve
Hi Imran, there was a mention on another thread that some of the bolts that need to be removed are single use? Some people seem to reuse them and others think it's crucial to replace these one time bolts. Do you guys know anything about this? Thanks! |

Roughly on top of my head, roughly they are about 24 nuts & bolts. With ranging from $2-$5/each. Is it necessary? It is depending on the condition of the removed hardwares. If the car is still within 2-3 years and in good climate area (no road salt or rain), 99% of the time the hardwares are still in good condition and re-usable.

Im on the MSS mount and the ride is really excellent. Im happy with MSS- not elated as the front could be lower but the drive is OEM like.

Imran@Evolve May we know if you're gonna send the new updated front kit that MSS just released? Those of us who ordered from you are not getting any info on this. And yet other US retailers are giving this as a free upgrade. Thanks

Following the purchase of the MSS kit for my old F87, I was confident in the quality and the advertised drop of 30 ± 3mm. Comparing the two kits, the G8x kit definitely does not drop as much as I anticipated. Looking forward to how MSS and Evolve responds to this. |
