Excessive muffler noise tickets! Is this being enforced?

Wouldn't be surprised if it was enforced. The article did say that's a pilot program .. hoping it's phased out . Gotta love NYC for finding ways to bring in additional revenue

I love a loud car, but I absolutely am behind the idea of this but with modifications to it.

I have an almost 9 month old baby that wakes up periodically throughout the night because fucktards and their loud cars with excessive burbles and shit decide it's fun to drive up and down relatively quiet areas between 11 pm and 3 am.

So I'd be okay with this if the dB threshold were a bit higher, and if it were only enforced during specific hours at night when a majority of people are asleep.
