I just ordered an G82 in Toronto Red with Tartufo. Anyone have a picture of this combination? I hope that this is as beautiful as I imagine, but have been unable to find the combination in an M4.

Hi all. I’m a newbie seriously considering a g80 m3 x drive. I have been offered a good deal on a Toronto red. Just looking for opinions on the colour plse. Is it a true red or does it look more orange? Not overly keen on orange cars!

It looks more like a traditional red to me, I've only noticed the 'orange' in pictures with specific lighting.

It's a true red but in direct sunlight gives off an orange hue due to the fine metallic flakes in the paint. Outside of the sun it looks like a darker red.

Depending on what lighting you see the color in it will change. True for all metallics.

For me Toronto Red offers a tint of orange in lighting. When you see that tint of orange I don't see it as a true red. But I like that.

Without lighting it looks red.

It's a trick color. Look at YouTube videos depicting it. Photos don't do it justice.

I found this to only be half true, I think when most of us think of the "orange hue" on an M car we now think back to Sakhir Orange? But from my personal experience I would say its a bright red 95% of the time to the naked eye.

If the poster who asked is curious I would say for the most part pics are pretty close to what it looks like in real life. I have also had my car next to a Corro Rosso?? Red and Imola red and unless you REALLY looked they are almost the same in most lights, with Imola probably being the most true red very similar to Ferrari Red in the F80 generation.

Yeah in mid summer, in the UK anyway it definitely has an orange hue to it, if anything it looks like a faded red, I wish it wouldn't do that and it stayed deep red

I have 2 TRs that's how much I like the color but yes in bright sun I've been asked many times is it orange.

Hey guys. I am looking at Toronto Red for my M2 spec, but have not seen the color in person. From what I have read and seen in some of the pics, there is s a orange in certain conditions. My friend had Guard Red GT3 and you could see the orange tones in it as well. Is Toronto very similar to Guards Red from Porsche? Or more Orange tones in direct light.

Thanks for any insights if anyone has some experience with both colors

I have to say I love it in all light. When its not popping in the sunshine, its a kind of creamy red. Id have it again. I love it lots, even in the UK. ;-p
