Vent flaps lights?

I just noticed that my driver and passenger side vent flaps don’t light up but the center ones do. Was this another cost saving idea by BMW? I only really noticed as I’m in a loaner car which is a 21 330i but all the vent flaps light up.

Didn’t know BMW air vents light up, thought it’s a merc feature… have you got a pic?

I meant the roller that opens and closes the air vents ha. Sorry

Yes, only the centers ones are lit. At least on my 22 G80 they are

All four vent open/close air vent things are lit on my 2022 PB Base.

Pretty sure all of mine are backlit on my 24 G83.

Random how some light up and others don’t. It’s bmw so not surprising ha.

I’m assuming they mean the roller wheel that adjusts the flaps? I’m curious and will take a look to see if mine are lit when I head out this morning.
