Sorry for my late response. Forgot to check back in. I put the $1,000 down a week and a half ago, and my salesman told me a couple of days ago that I got in ahead of 7 people and that I am 2nd in line for an allocation. Not sure I believe it but he mentioned I should be getting an allocation sometime next month.

Haven't really heard of anyone on the list at Fields but I joined in Sep and was told I was #12 for M3CX
SA seemed pretty confident I'd get the first batch of MY24's |

This is a total roller coaster for us all isn't it haha. I have my order in at orland, last I checked it sitting "5th" in line. After seeing all this, not sure how true that is

Might be a good idea to join a couple additional waitlists as well. I was on Moterwerk's waitlist for 6 months before getting an allocation with another dealer.

I must have gotten lucky at Motorwerks because my SA got me my allocation about 20-25 days after my deposit in late August. My car just finished production yesterday and is getting ready to cross the ocean. Brandon my SA at Motorwerks has been excellent, and when I initially placed my deposit he claimed that I had jumped past 6 or 7 people in line. The car should be here right around Christmas. If you reach out to him tell him Josh sent you!

Do you have any more context around the "jumped past 6 or 7 people in line" bit? Were they on the list with no deposit, have Individual colors that delayed their build, etc? |

Let us know if your spot changes based on having sent a deposit. Maybe the have a larger list of people waiting, and a smaller list of people who've actually given them money.

Did not get anything from Barrington but got a build slot from Westmont yesterday after only ~1.5mo on the waitlist. Unfortunately got impatient and ended up ordering a 992 C2 instead, hoping I can help a fellow forum member out and not piss off my SA too much. It’s for an M3CX @ msrp

So best as I've been able to surmise, Motorwerks got 10 M3 allocations in October, 2 in November, Zero in December, 1 in January, and at least 2 in February.
Why "at least" 2 in February? Because I was 2nd on the overall list last week, and I got my allocation yesterday. |

Guys, talk to Elmhurst BMW. They are an M-Certified dealer. I went there and put a deposit on Jan 09, 2023 for G80. $1k deposit, MSRP, no bullshit packages and add-ons.I was first on the list. On Feb 04, 2023 I received my production number and my order status is 111. I expect to get to status 112 in the next 2 weeks or so.
Good luck everyone |

I ordered my G80 from MotorWerks and the allocations were 'lumpy' in 2022 as well. Months would go by with little movement then a big chunk would come in and shorten the list.
I have no idea if this is actually how it works but this is what I was told. Good luck to all! |

Laurel BMW just put this on the floor, first come first serve and MSRP possible….
Not my preferred color so I am passing on it and hope this helps someone out on the boards here. |

Just following up on my previous comment, my car was dispatched from the factory yesterday and it is heading to port in Bremerhaven.
