I completely agree. I don't know why people are excited. I'm excited for AWD, but have 0 excitement for the S58. The S55 is so we'll sorted already. The S58 will allow maybe 50-100 more hp on stock internals. Built, they'll likely be the same. 50-100hp is barely enough to make up for the weight difference.

700 HP lol... the power magicians are there. Being in the industry, this is clearly either completely fake, or fake numbers.
A piggyback will provide power, but 200 HP crank with a piggyback is just bs... and everyone in the industry with experience will know. Show me datalogs / dynonumbers & VBOX info, then we'll talk again

I'm exploring other options in the meantime. I was going to transfer my BM3 license and be on my merry way. What are folks on the G80 side thinking about in terms of piggyback tuning until (if/when) flash solution is available? |

I have no interest in JB4, or piggybacks in general. I've already used one and hated the jerky shifts and yo-yo power delivery.
Hopefully someone actually cracks the ECU soon |

If I were to use a piggyback again I'd probably opt for JB4 again. They have so many users and likely have the best hardware.
But I won't touch a piggyback again, and BMW can detect the piggy just as easily as a flash tune. |
