Who here drove the Toronto red x4m comp ?

I'm 6'4" with a 34 inseam. Don't get me wrong, I fit inside VERY comfortably, roof up or down, and getting in/out with the top down is an absolute breeze. But when the top goes up, the door opening over the window comes down probably 5" from where the rest of the roof is. Makes it extremely difficult to get in and out.

I have to put one leg out, fold forward onto the steering wheel, rotate and put the other leg out, then kind of fall forward and stand up after my back clears the roofline.

I also have a 34 inseam. The one thing I do remember was that the side sill was a lot wider than my 3 series, so I could kinda see what your saying as far as the contortion

So I went in on a wait list and was able to get in on the track. Drove an M4 for giggles and it was amazing. I had a great time. Thank you for alerting me about this. I can now finally say I drove an M3/M4 before I get my own lol

Glad you got in. That one sounds way more fun. I just got home from the Hoffman Estates one. Autocross was in the i4 M50 and they had another short course you could do with the iX. Also did a few street drives, but sadly for me there was no Z4.

I was there on Thursday for the 12:45 PM session. The event was invitation-only and not publicized. The instructor crew was from the BMW Performance Center in Greer, SC.

I enjoyed driving the Isle of Man Green / Kyalami orange M3. Nice to see a lot of other interesting vehicles on the grounds of Autobahn Country Club, including the Radical race team's facility.

Every time I've been to a ude, you have autocross in a crappy car or pay 195 for autocross in an m car. Last year it was a 440i for the regular and m4s for the 195 fee (have to be 25 to do the m4s) this year with the electric they only have the i4s they're doing and they're all i4 m50s.

Autobahn Country Club is a good one, but I bet I had more fun scooting the 3,500lb M3 around there then anyone did in the new 4,000lb porker with 3 more horsepower!

Not to mention that busted beak...

I thought the NOW Arena event was fine. Track felt small but maybe that's how these events go. It was nice to do a street drive of the X4M - definitely a nicer drive than the 2020 when I drove it. And I just might try to go for a pre-LCI X7 after driving it — seems perfect if you've got a couple young kids, and I don't love the LCI (yet, at least).

Bummed to hear about this Joliet event after the fact - looks like it was a good time.

It was worth the long drive. I signed up for the NOW arena but when I heard about the Joliet one, signed up to be on the waitlist and showed up anyways. The people were really nice and let me do the track and it was worth the 2 hr drive from Milwaukee

I did not. I also did not receive one when doing the M Track days at Indy in June. I don't think they're sending them out at the moment, which is a bummer.

Very little out there in of discounts. I was hoping this would be an easy 500 off.

Agreed. My wife's lease is up in shortly, and the options aren't great. Have a hard time paying 100's more/month for similar vehicles.
