My 2022 manual m4 finally arrived.

I have been excited since I bought the car from the US. I have never owned a BMW and never driven M car. I bought it four months ago from Arizona and imported it all the to Saudi Arabia. I’ll tell you, it’s worth the waiting. I imported mine because BMW in the middle East doesn’t offer any M4 and M3 with the manual, the competition is the only option here. I am very lucky because it is the only manual M4 in Saudi Arabia.
I may be a bias, but the cars feel amazing. The Clutch is light, and you can really get used to it. The shifter is short, and I don’t get what people are saying about its rubberiness I didn’t feel it. The 1 to 2 shift is not that smooth, but it is not that big of a deal. I like how the power feels like, it is so smooth and you almost feel like it is NA. I also like MDM, it is so aggressive and enjoyable.
When I was planning to buy a manual sport car, I was initially about to buy a Camaro ZL1. I am glad that I changed my mind and decided to go with the M4. It feels so much more sophisticated and complex than the Zl1 and looks better.

That's surprising you were able to get it imported with all of the different countries laws that are out there. Emissions being the big one. No OPF, and just overall US only specs that I would have thought would be next to impossible to get done. Congrats, and enjoy. It's nice being a 1:1.

Congrats. Bravo to you for going out and getting the model you wanted even if it wasn't offered in your country!

Was the import process difficult? How much did it add to the cost of the car?

Now if only we could be able to import the Touring version to the US…

Thanks. tbh, it exceeds my expectations in everything. I even enjoyed the artificial sounds of the exhaust in the interior

Thanks. In Saudi Arabia, we are allowed to import pretty much any car except right steering cars but you have to pay additional fees if the car doesn't meet feul consumption restrictions. Luckily, the m4 meets those regulations and you only pay 20 percent of the US MSRP as tax and customs.

It was pretty long but it is worth it. I ended up buying it cheaper than the available m4 comp from Saudi BMW dealer by a huge margin. Car prices here are being insane because the cars that are allocated to Saudi Arabia never meet the demand these days.

The import process was not difficult. The most difficult thing I faced is Arizona DMV. The title took too much time to get. It adds about 20 k in usd. Thank you and I hope you get the chance to import m3 touring.
