M3 G80 in Skyscraper Grey with Tartufo

Saturday was finally pickup day. Since I had little time so far due to work, I barely got to drive it yet. But the car is really amazing. As much as I liked the F80, the G80 is definitely a level above in almost every aspect as far as I can tell so far.

Very happy with the color combo, Tartufo is gorgeous and Skyscraper Grey is pretty much the perfect grey for me (second favorite was Tanzanite Blue, but since I had it on the F80 I wanted something different). Lost the tire lottery, but it could be worse. The only little downside are the wheels. I like the design, but they are just too dark for my taste. I went with the bi-color, but that's still way too dark (they appear to look brigther in pictures than in person). They look good with direct light, but otherwise they get lost. You lose the visual perception of the stance/width of the car, there's just something missing in the wheel houses. I'll powdercoat them in a lighter color once I get around to it. Very excited to see how that will look like (haven't seen any pics yet).

I'm still undecided about potential mods, we'll see (but it won't be too much).

Congratulations! It was about time.

My original first choice was supposed to be Skyscraper as well

Congrats! Very nice!

I got mine last Wednesday. It's also Skyscraper Gray, but Fiona Red interior. I agree, it's definitely a level up from the f80.

I also got bi-color 826m wheels, and agree that they're too dark. They do look brighter in photos, as you stated. I'm thinking of getting a set of 825m wheels, or powder coating these. Someone had powder coated them a graphite color. They looked better, but still too dark. I do like the ferric gray that's offered on the 825m wheels. But, still a little dark and gray for Skyscraper

I have Dravit grey and bought car with 826m black wheels and recently sold mine a bought a set of bi-color wheels from a forum member. My wheels were lost in the color because Dravit is a darker color. Although Skyscraper is a lighter color, I think the black would look better. I kinda of wished I would of purchased the 825m wheels now because bi-color do still look dark. They look great with light hitting them.

Love it. Same exact spec as mine being built next month, except I went with the manual. Congrats!

very nice, I wanted Tartufo, but carbon buckets were my first choice. Beautiful car non the less. I also agree with the Bicolor 826.

Winter tires mounted. The tires make a very good impression so far, but could not yet experience them in the snow. Purely from the design I gotta say that I like the 825M and 826M equally well, perhaps the 826M slightly better. But since the Orbit Grey 825M are brighter, I prefer these a bit more. The car just appears different, the width pops out visually better, while the 826M can disappear into the wheel arches if the lighting isn't bright enough. I wasn't quite sure if I would like the 825M, but am very happy with the choice now.
