Thank you for posting this. I think this pretty much locks in voodoo as my choice when I order.
I'm kinda thinking superman combo with the voodoo? Fiona red interior? Could work. Definitely be standout.

Yea. It goes AMAZING with SPY and i imagine with YMB if that existed as a color, but not a lot of others. I guess you could do white, but my brain has trouble putting it with much else, especially without seeing the colors together in person.

I was considering something similar (I'm getting santorini). I couldn't get the carbon buckets in fiona, so I went black interior instead.

How did you decide between Santorini, Pure Blue, Voodoo and Enzian? I had a tough time as they are all so similar.

Superman combo has looked good on last generations. I would think it would work this time around too. There is enough gloss black bits (or CF) on the outside to help break it up a bit too.

The more I look at voodoo blue and the Fiona red leather I think I'm gonna do it.
I already had one superman combo car. Why not do two?

I probably went back and forth on those 4 choices for days.

I couldn't find a ton of videos and info on enzian, so I wasn't sure I wanted to risk it. I thought pure blue might have been a little too light (plus not alot of videos on that color either). I will say, I was very, very close to picking pure blue based on the couple of videos I saw of a 911 speedster in that color. I ultimately thought it was a little too light and I wanted something a little different than my old Yas F80.

That left me with santorini and voodoo. Since santorini is a BMW color, I felt it was more fitting to use. Plus, voodoo is an option for Toyota Tacoma trucks (of which I've seen a couple on the road near me recently) and I didn't want to mirror that (maybe a little vain/shallow but it's true).

They do look similar. There was something about voodoo that popped more to me. Some had some green hints and others a bit of a greyish hint. Voodoo seemed the most blue to me? If that's a "thing"

I think it would end up being a great combo and most likely pretty unique for this generation.

I agree - they are all very similar. I vacillated between them for a long time right up until I had an allocation and had to chose. My first choice was LSB which BMW said "wasn't available" for whatever frustrating reason. I was going to do voodoo, but I thought it was maybe a little too electric blue for what I was looking for. Although I think it would look much better on this car than on that M5 video you probably also watched. Then I was going to do Pure Blue. And then I read a review or two (could have been the same person) that described Enzian as a "slight darker LSB" so I went with it. Hopefully it looks as good when I see it in person IN 11 DAYS!!

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one obsessing with blues.

I'm deciding between San Marino, Enzian and Santorini. I think the darker shades of blue are going to be amazing on this generation of M3/M4. In pics I don't find the lighter shades work as well, but I'm looking foward to seeing your Enzian.

Are you sure it is Voodoo? It looks more like Santorini in that lighting. Where did you find the description of the color?

I'm probably going to do it. My last superman (I call it Spider-Man) combo was a M235 xdrive convertible in 2016. Estoril blue with Coral Red.

Portimao is pretty far from Estoril. I've owned both.

It's close enough that I want something with a different tonal quality to it. Voodoo seems nicely bright and different than estoril and other family blues to my eyes.

What did Santorini cost in terms of money and time for the order? I’m trying to decide between Santorini or Voodoo. The differences between real-world photos in multiple lighting consolations makes it even harder.

I don’t hate portimao. I test drove a PB M3C in the wet in April, carbon bucket seats. I like the look without being incredibly drawn to the paint in overcast outdoor lighting. I love the lighter blues in Individual, though.

The Individual Manufaktur Visualizer doesn't have the same impact as the real thing.

That's not voodoo, I agree. People that input specs into online listing are notorious for making mistakes.

$4500

Agree, you definitely cant go by the configurator pictures, they aren't even close imho.

If you like lighter blues, I'd suggest Pure Blue. There is a video or two on youtube of a 911 speedster in that color. I think it looks great (was very close to choosing that over Santorini).

Thanks (USD I assume)!

I'm hoping that the M3C xDrive launch colour on the M4 is a standard colour, in which case done. Looking forward to seeing confirmed Santorini photos of the G80/82. When do you expect to get your's?

$4500 USD for me as well and I agree that trying to figure out what it's going to look like, especially based on the visualizer is definitely challenging. The colors seem to look so different in different lights. Time will tell next week what mine finally looks like. I'll try and take some as representative as possible colors. Although then there are different monitor settings to make it even more complicated....

You type "BMW (insert color)" on Google images. Every single color has real life images of cars with the paints.

Do not go by the configurator.
