Interesting … my G82 flipped to 150 on September 16, and production was (and still is, as of this afternoon) scheduled to complete October 4. Either mine’s taking a leisurely stroll through Regensburg, or yours is sprinting through Munich. Great news for you, either way!

Flipped to status 150 production begins at 5am this morning!! Thank you car gods! And I added parking assistance package + carbon bucket seats to my build last week… thought for sure I would be pushed out to December… 🤣

Flipped overnight from 150 to 153 (exterior body assembly begins). October 4 completion seems more credible now. System never reported body shop or paint steps in production, but hey — I’m not complaining now.

Me too! That just made my morning Hopefully several others started production with us. But now we just need to keep our fingers crossed for no stop sales. Oh man, these last couple of months are going to test my patience

I was told my car has started estimated to finish the 4th, no vin. I'm like how do you knit she's like it's in a production pack status which means they are putting the chassis ? I'm like I don't have a vin she's like you'll have one soon… what the hell is a production pack?

It just means you're in status 112, sometimes also referred to as "scheduled for daily production pack"

No clue what a production pack is but it's BMW terminology

I was fortunate to have been changed to 150 with VIN assigned today. Interestingly, was also told a week sooner for delivery (local in Germany) but won't hold my breath. Best of luck to all those still waiting. It's so frustrating checking day to day with no movement.

I checked the site again since i can't help it and i am making progress again!!!

I'm currently in, "EXTERIOR BODY ASSEMBLY BEGINS".

So i assume i'm in the same "assembly line" as your car? Maybe i'll go into paint tomorrow?

Let’s face it you’re going to check it 8 or 10 times a day. Lol. When I had my rear wheel drive one built I checked it that many times a day and once my AWD one goes 150 ill do the same with it.

Congrats! When did you start production and when is your completion date? I started production 9/22 with a scheduled completion date of 10/7. I have not seen any change on the site yet. I called yesterday and genius confirmed I was still on track for 10/7 but did not note that the vin had been scanned.

Honestly, the first thing i do when i wake up is turn on my computer, check my emails and the first website i go on, is the bmw website to check for updates lol.

Then i check about once every 3-4 hours during work if i have down time to check. Then i check when i get home, then about 2-3 more times before i sleep lol. So 8-10 times a day seems about right. If there is someone at BMW monitoring how many times i log in the site i'm sure they're probably thinking, "what the hell is wrong with this guy? He needs to relax and let the car be built in peace". LOL

According to genius, (and when i checked the site), i went into production sept 17. I was told by genius i'll be completed by october 1. So this friday. So i assuming i go into paint tomorrow. Then the rest of the process to be completed on friday.

No options is the key to a fast production!!!

So mine flipped to that status overnight as well. Our cars have already been through paint, and they’re getting assembled. Sound like ours Ms will have just about the same completion date, whatever that ultimately ends up being, just at different plants.
