I'm curious as to how long other cars are waiting (or have waited) in Oxnard for parts. There are other threads on stop sales in general, but I did not see a recent one focused on the West coast VPC.

Share your timelines and frustrations here, and we can all vent together! Even if you had no stop sales, feel free to share your timeline. I won't judge.

I'll start:

Hello, I'm og_e46, and I have a problem.

Model: 2022 G80
Stop Sales: PMA, RAM
Arrived at Port: 3/15/2022
Departed VPC: Soon, I hope!

BTW, my CA says he has requested weekly updates from the VPC manager, but so far nothing informative has been passed along to me. I also tracked 2 other G82's which had the same stop sales, arrived at the same Port, and on the same ship as my Individual order. Both have closed their stop sales and have already been delivered to their dealership. Interesting thing is that both G82's went to the same dealership (60 miles away from the VPC), and both went up for in stock sale, not customer ordered. Do I sense some priority pull here???

Supposedly they get parts at the beginning of the month. When did those cars get closed? That might be the case.

One closed about a week after arrival and the other about a week and half after arrival (so about 3/22/22 and 3/26/22).

Where did you hear they get parts at the beginning of the month?

Through posts here. Folks have said they have been told this by their CA’s. But who knows how accurate that truly is.

I have a G82CX that arrived the 15th and so far the PMA has closed but the RAM is still open.

And I refresh the browser twice each time I check the recall tool just to be sure... real problem I have.

Nice. Both PMA and RAM are still open for me. Seems like the RAM is what is holding most cars up now.

Took 2 days, only had RAM. Parking assist wasnt available in early January when I ordered, all according to my dealership

March 15, 2022 - At Port Hueneme (West Coast USA)
March 17, 2022 - RAM closed
March 21, 2022 - In Transit (to dealer) 9am

Based on much of my reading, I think the VPC in Oxnard uses a FIFO system.

Call Genius! Spoke to them today and heard my car had an open work order for the RAM stop sale. On the recall tool it did not show up. They also said my car has an ETA to the dealership in Washington on 4/10, this Sunday! For reference: My car arrived at Port on 4/2.

So your open RAM does not show up on both UK recall tool and Alex Bond recall tool? But yet Genius says you do have the RAM stop sale?

So sorry- To clarify, it shows up that i do have the RAM stop sale but not that a work order was opened. My apologies.

Brpnw17, thanks for clarifying. I called Genius, but he could not tell me anything I did not already know. He couldn't even see if I had any stop sales at all nor provide an ETA on delivery. I guess not all Geniuses are created equal.

Really? I do agree there though. I talked to a guy named Matt who I have spoken with before and he gave me solid insight. So surprised since they all should have the same access.

Still no movement on the RAM for any of the G8X's that I'm tracking. Per Otis Redding, "I'm sittin' on the dock of the bay" .... in SoCal for 3 weeks and 2 days now. I guess it's not that looong. I wonder if Top Gun2 will be released before my G80C????
