I’m taking delivery of my M4 xDrive soon and would like start scheduling appointments to do front PPF. Any pointers? Thanks in advance!

Metropolitan Detail is probably the best ppf shop in the area but a bit pricey.
I went to APC auto spa in Monroe as it was $500 cheaper for the full front end. They did a decent job and tucked the film underneath the panels where possible. |

Thank you! I also heard good things about ZTEK USA, Bespoke Tint & PPF, and Benchmark Auto Salon. What was the full price in APC? (if you can share)

I would go either NW AUTO SALON IN LYNNWOOD or METROPOLITAN IN REDMOND. They are more pricey, but I think it is worth it. I've seen few cars that have done their PPF in Metro and NW Auto Salon including My friend (F80 M3) and the finishes in all edges were super clean and didn't see any gaps... I would give NW & METRO 10/10 based my personal review. I also went with Auto Spa for Full Frontal, Roof, other areas because it was cheaper.. but I had to take my car back to the shop 5 times.... If you are okay with decent install, you can go with Auto Spa. I would rate them 7/10. |

Thank you guys! 🙏🏾
I took my Jag to a “cheaper” paint shop and ended up taking it there several times to fix stuff that they did wrong. I’m ok paying a bit more if what they use is custom cut instead of pre-cut crap… but after watching that video that I linked, I am second guessing if I should do PPF at all… sometimes paint correction from a reputable shop may be more cost effective, if every time I get a noticeable rock chip on my PPF I need to redo the panel… Last edited by HuanLeBrown; 03-27-2023 at 03:37 PM.. |

Metropolitan Detail, Blue Star in Everett, APC in Monroe do great jobs, take their time and have loaners.
APC will be the cheaper(price, not quality) and Metro being the most expensive. |
