I'm trying to code Easy Entry and Brake Force, I don't see these options in the app. On Bimmercode's website it shows Brake Force is supported, but nothing for Easy Entry. Has anyone been able to successfully code these? If so, can you please provide the steps?

U don't need to code that anymore…there is a setting in the general settings of the idrive for this.

Does coding affect warranty at all? I've done coding in my X5 because that when I first heard if it. my service center never said anything about it. On the X forum someone made a excel sheet showing everything you can code…. Anything like that for the M models?

I personally didn't have any issues with dealers for coding on my F87 during my ownership.
I've had
- RR chime
- angel eye brightness
- seat belt warning disable for the passenger
- brake force
- iDrive warning delete
- video in motion
- welcome light on reverse

I guess it all depends on what dealer you work with.
Most don't seem to care.

Which apps do you folks recommend for this sort of coding? I'm new to this discussion, I see references to Bimmercode, Bimmerlink and Carly. I sure don't want to mess up my car system, so I guess I'm a bit cautious. Any advice?

Similar list to the coding changes I made to my F82 (plus passenger mirror reversing angle and couple of other things IIRC) - never had any issues with warranty, etc (UK-based)

Are there any coding options for easy entry where the seat moves back for you to get in?

I've emailed Bimmercode asking how to code it, they said the option doesn't exist for easy entry. Their exact words "Easy entry is not possible for the G80 unfortunately."

I would like to configure Brake Force, but seems like you can configure part of it, but not the entire thing where the brake lights flash when you press on the brake pedal.

Work around is to program one of the buttons to your normal driving position and the other to all the way back. I've gotten used to it when getting in and out of the car.

Thats what I am doing.

Didnt the F80 have easy access? And didn't the steering wheel move up too? Or am I confused?

No you are correct.
You could code in Easy Entry/Exit on the F8X cars but for some reason this was either removed or coding parameters have yet to be figured out for the G8X.
Hoping someone comes out with coding sheets/values for Esys like we've had on the prior generations of BMWs

That would work if I didn't have the 2nd button set for my Better Half. I wish they would have given us 3 buttons (first world problems )

Womp womp! Solution to that is not letting my better half drive it but on special occasions lol jk her wish is my command (but she has to adjust her seat accordingly!)

I'm not seeing this in BimmerCode at all. I don't even see front electronic module much less door handle lights when reverse engaged? What am I missing here?

Anyone else run into video in motion repeating its setup when you code? I enabled it once and it appears it took. I then found another coding option I forgot to enable. Went to do so and video in motion setup popped up again. I found that odd.

The other key has its own profiles doesn't it? Couldnt she just use the other key? That or use profiles with one key? If you have drivers assistance, I think you can set it (the camera in the dash) up to where it uses facial recognition to select the correct profile too.

Don't have Drivers Assistance, but of course I have a 2nd key.

Thanks. Simple pleasures.
