I want the Sport HUD in Road mode. I really despise not having the Sport HUD with the hockey stick tachometer unless I hit the M Mode button.

I haven't done anything yet because I use a Mac and when I upgraded to the new M1 Macs Windows doesn't work on VMWare right now. So I may need to get a cheap windows laptop just for coding and stuff.

Hmmm. Not so in my G30 but I can't remember specifics on the G8x.

If the G8x is like the G2x, then I have some bad news. The laser lights have a hardware difference, not coding. You can decode anti-dazzle though.

No turn signals in HUD for G series cars either IIRC.

Things I'd code
- More interior lighting options. If I want blue doors and dash but with a red footwell make it so.
- "Get out of car" mode. When you put the vehicle in park and turn off the engine, the seats move back to make exiting the vehicle easier. My lowly Camaro had this.
- Different weather rules for driver and passenger. My wife(normally passenger) would love the heated seats on if it's below 60. I don't use them until it's below 40. The rules apply to both.

For you "get out of car" mode - kind of a hassle but definitely gotten used to it. I coded driver position 1 to my normal driving seat position and 2 to my "get out of car position". When I park I push 2 then get back in the car push 1. Sort of a work around.

I just got my OBD dongle today and also purchased bimmercode. My dongle is Bluetooth.

First time using bimmercode and noticed the options listed in the demo version is not the same when actually coding the car.

Is brake force not an option on the M3?

Also is wireless faster than Bluetooth? It takes forever to go into different modules.

Wi-fi Modules are way faster than Bluetooth. Night and day difference.

-always turn applecarplay back on when used last (not when it chooses)
-winter mode which starts transmission in second gear (seriously, 1st is useless on extreme slick roads)
-have the ability to attach which screen/safety mode (or whatever its called) to M1/M2 modes so you don't have to do this seperately
