I think it requires the latest December update. Once that gets pushed out, should work better (according to the release notes).

Wait, people actually use the built-in Nav? Why aren't you using Google Maps/Waze/Apple Maps? If you have an iPhone and use Apple Maps, turn-by-turn directions are also displayed in the HUD.

Wait, hooooold up. Your navigation through Apple CarPlay shows up on the HUD??? Hot damn, I'm glad to be getting an M3 if so!

Yes, but only Apple Maps.

Hot damn. Stands to reason that connecting my Android phone may display Google Maps then! I carry both phones but might just connect my Android phone if it means seeing Google Maps on the HUD. Cheers!
