For all the people who've lowered their cars with K&W or other brands, have you swapped out your stock shocks if so, what shocks?

Any of the HAS kits are fine with stock suspension. If you're looking to swap out springs and struts, you're already in coilover territory.

KW v4 only at the moment, other manufacturers will be releasing soon.

How's the ride with the K&W HAS and essentially what I was asking is that if running them will wear out my shocks faster. New to this whole suspension thing I've never gotten a car lowered

BMW retains the stock dampeners on the M-Performance branded HAS kit also.

The HAS design has been on the market for the last 2 M3/M4 generations with no issues on premature wear from using them - don't expect any from this generation. Ride is slightly stiffer ("sportier") but not far from stock.

Im going with the KW has on my car later this month. I had them on my F80. It rode pretty much like stock. Retained all factory EDC settings. Just got rid of that pesky wheel gap.

Stiffer ride but still very close to stock in terms of comfort. The KW HAS is an excellent option for daily drivers.

No need for concern about wearing out your shocks with this kit. We have been offering KW HAS kits for years, never had any issues.

I have an m3 comp x drive on order. This will be my daily. Should I be looking at mss or kw spring kit?

From what I've heard in here, both are a valid option.

KW has been in the suspension business for 25+ years and is a Motorsport and industry partner for BMW AG.

MSS has an update coming so adjustability and ride height should be the same for KW and MSS. Mike would have more info on this.

They will supply this to all that purchased the MSS HAS. Probably redesigned adjuster cup for the front so you don't have to do the Ben mod

Or just wait to install so you are not charged additional labor to reinstall the new updated MSS hardware.
