Thanks for posting and congrats! You are clearly one of the long haulers. So this seems like the first Baltimore RAM car to clear on here in quite some time. Anyone else seeing movement??

I was on the same ship - came to VPC on 10/25, work order opened on 11/01 for RAM, work order completed on 12/20. Took the delivery on 31st Dec.

Fully understand the spare parts issues. But very strange to see that there is no order to this madness(or maybe I don't understand). Hopefully, BMW will figure out, and help customers by giving them more accurate status/dates.

Thanks teamtj I appreciate. If you still didn't get your car contact your dealership sa ask them to send escalation email to BMW USA their rep and the contacts that they have to get an idea of timing

Sorry to hear but the VIN tool is generally accurate. It's not that the dealer was being untruthful. Their system just hadn't updated with the most up-to-date information. I think the update to the systems used by the Genius and dealers is refreshed every 24 hours. I just don't know at what point during the day that happens.

The reply after five days that I got from BMW on their Facebook page. A total non-answer answer.

"We understand how eager you are to take delivery of your new BMW, and we also can't wait for you to get behind the wheel. Our apologies for your frustrations about the delivery timeframe of your vehicle. We are doing our best to get your vehicle to you as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, industry-wide capacity limitations due to the ongoing global pandemic and continuing issues impacting the global supply chain are impacting automotive manufacturing around the world. Your BMW center will notify you when your vehicle is ready for you to take delivery. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding."
